Pharmacist

James Payne Male.

The practice pharmacist runs clinics where medicines are the main intervention such as Diabetes, Hypertension and Asthma. They are a great source of medicines information for patients’ and health care professionals’ medicine queries.
The practice pharmacist can provide expertise in clinical medicines review and address public health and the social needs of patients. Examples include reconciling medicines following hospital discharge and working with patients and community pharmacists to ensure the correct medicines are received upon leaving hospital.

The Counsellors

Please see your GP first for a referral. They offer an assessment interview and then sessions of treatment according to your needs. The practice can also refer for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or register you for supportive on line modules. Drug and Alcohol problems are covered by a separate counselling service also accessible through your GP.
