- At reception in our prescription box
- Post it through our letter box on the outside of the practice
- Send it in with a stamped addressed envelope
- Pharmacy request on your behalf
Only housebound patients are eligible to make telephone or fax requests for repeat prescriptions.
If you are not ordering online be as clear as possible in your request and allow up to 2 days. If possible use the repeat request form attached to your prescription. Specify whether you would like the prescription kept at surgery for collection during surgery hours, left one of the local chemists, or posted back to you in a self addressed stamped envelope. Some chemists are able to do home deliveries but you should arrange this with the chemist yourself.
We regularly review repeat prescriptions and so you may see a request to attend for a review appointment on your re-order form. You may also see minor changes to improve dosage instructions, to prescribe some medicines under their generic (medical) name or so that similar quantities of medicines are issued each time. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
